Billing questions
How does the free trial work?
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial managed through Shopify’s billing system. You won’t be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then with nothing billed.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from the Plans & billing page inside the app. Changes take effect immediately and billing is prorated by Shopify.
What happens if I go over my product limit?
ClearShelf keeps tracking your existing products and will prompt you to upgrade before adding new ones beyond your plan’s limit. Nothing is deleted or paused without warning.
Is billing handled by Shopify?
Yes. All charges run through Shopify’s recurring billing API and appear on your regular Shopify invoice — no separate payment method needed.
